iBESO imports the pre-bulit look-up table technique as the post-processing method to smooth topologcially optimized results. More details about this method can be found here.

The smoothing mode can be cancled by clicking the "Smoothing Toggle" in the Options Panel, as shown in Fig. 1.

After cancling the smoothing mode, the optimizers show the original topologically optimized results with zig-zag boundaries (see Fig. 2).
